Traceability by Design: How Batch Identity Works at Sterling

Traceability at Sterling is not an afterthought applied at packaging. It is the organising principle of the catalogue: every release is assigned a register reference before it moves, and every later record attaches to that reference.

A Sterling batch reference has three parts. The ST- prefix marks the register. The product code identifies the catalogue item — RTA for Retatrutide, BPC for BPC-157, and so on. The final sequence encodes the release date, so a reference like ST-RTA-260801 reads as a specific product released on a specific day.

Because the reference is printed on the vial label and its packaging, anyone holding a Sterling product can place it within its history. The Verify tool resolves a reference to its product identity, batch status and documentation availability in seconds.

For partners, the same register powers documentation retrieval through Sterling Track. The reference a customer reads from a label is the same key a partner uses to pull the batch record — one identity, end to end.
